Giving Levels
Giving club membership, especially unrestricted annual gifts at the President's Circle level, provides Wells with the foundation of financial support that enables the College to offer quality education and to prepare students for leadership in many fields and endeavors.
Gifts to the Annual Fund provide critical support for student programs, financial aid, faculty salaries, library acquisitions, and improvements to teaching and residence space. Unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund of $5,000 or more qualify donors for membership in the President's Circle.
Giving club membership is based on a donor's total of all gifts made during the College's July 1 to June 30 fiscal year. Annual gifts, planned gifts, and corporate matching gifts all qualify an individual for membership in a giving club or society. Matching gifts for which donors or their spouses/partners are eligible are credited to the donor when the College is notified of the match.
Contracted planned gifts are recognized in the year in which Wells is notified of the arrangement.
