Experiential Learning

At Wells, experience is required.

How do you connect the dots between what you learn in the classroom with your life, your professional goals, and the world? With the experiential learning requirement at Wells. Unlike many colleges, experiential learning credits are mandatory for graduation, and not just reserved for your junior or senior years. From your first year with us, you will immerse yourself in exciting hands-on projects, internships, and research that enables you to test theories, develop practical skills, and gain firsthand insight into the world.

Just imagine...doing geneological research in Salt Lake City, anthropology studies in Hawaii, or tutoring on a Navajo reservation. Study theatre in London, work with rescue animals at a local shelter, or help children with special needs. Our students do all these things, and more, every day.
